“If a Doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it.”
-Dr. John H. Kennell
Although you can’t predict what pregnancy, labor, and postpartum will be like, you can choose to educate yourself and to surround yourself with people and providers who make you feel confident, capable, and strong.
I am here to help guide you, support you, and advocate for you.
I am here to create a safe space for you to labor & birth confidently.
I am here to be completely present physically, emotionally, and energetically.
I am here to help you have a safe, memorable, and positive birth experience.
Have your HypnoBirthing Instructor at your birth or just want to incorporate some HypnoBirthing techniques into your pregnancy, labor and birth. As a certified and fully trained birth doula, I’m able to bring the full birth toolkit into the birth room for you with a wealth of knowledge about hypnosis and how to facilitate that into your birthing space.
It is my hearts desire to be able to serve mothers near and far, including those outside of my physical community. Aside from a safe and memorable birth, I believe the most beneficial aspect that a doula provides is education. Some mothers prefer to have the educational support and a person to call on during pregnancy, labor and postpartum, but may not necessarily require the physical presence or you and your partner want your birth to be intimate and limit the number of people in attendance, this service can help support, encourage and guide you and your partner! There are also mothers who want the support of a doula, but cannot find one in their area. I am here to fill that gap.
As a sibling doula support, I will provide emotional support and expert guidance to the child(ren) while mom gives birth. I will meet you at your home or place of birth and provide full care for the child(ren) during your ENTIRE labor and birth. I come with the experience, education and knowledge of attending births, so I can help your child(ren) to understand and feel supported as you welcome your new baby, and their new brother or sister, into the family. I am there to maintain a balance and routine in your child’s day. While also allowing them the space to be as involved or uninvolved as they wish to be when the big day arrives. This includes light meal prepping, light house cleaning, and cared for according to your family’s preference. I can answer any questions that may arise from child(ren) thoughtfully. I understand that big transitions can be tough so let me help feel in that gap for a smoother transition.
“When you change the way you view birth, the way you birth will change.”
-Marie Mongan

It provides the knowledge and tools to help you make the right birth decisions for you and for your baby. HypnoBirthing® is as much a philosophy as it is a technique. The method teaches you that, in the absence of fear and tension, or special medical circumstances, severe pain does not have to be an accompaniment of labor.
